Governor Walz’s recent budget highlights housing as a critical issue facing Minnesota, calling for investments across the housing continuum from homelessness to homeownership. We commend the Governor for giving the housing crisis the increased attention it demands, but we know that we must do more to meet the housing needs of students, families, employers, and communities across Minnesota.

State investments must include supportive services that allow Minnesotans to achieve and maintain safe, stable housing because home impacts everything. It is where workers earn, children learn, seniors thrive and communities prosper. The Homes for All coalition, representing more than 200 organizations across the state, looks forward to working with both the House and the Senate to meet the housing needs of Minnesotans.
